The Story Behind You Found Me There

You Found Me There is a journey through grace—from brokenness to redemption. What began as a few songs written from the heart gradually became a complete story of faith. Each song reflects a step along the road of following Christ: abiding in Him, being rescued by grace, learning to walk in new life, and waiting with hope for His return.

The first songs—In the Name of the Son, Abide in the Vine, You Found Me There, and In the Shelter of His Love—set the spiritual tone for the project. At the time, I was not planning an album. I was writing what was on my heart as I reflected on God’s grace and the power of His Word.

As more songs came together—Ever Held in Grace, Put It On, and others—I realized something larger was taking shape. The themes of redemption, transformation, and hope were weaving themselves into a unified message. What began as individual songs became my first fully produced album.

At the heart of it all is the truth behind the title:
no matter where we fall or how far we wander, Christ meets us there.
And when He does, everything changes.

The Spiritual Journey of the Album

1. Abide in the Vine — Union with Christ
The journey begins with Jesus’ call to abide in Him. In Christ we find our source of life, strength, and spiritual growth.

2. Grace Unshaken — Rescue from Sin
A reminder that God’s grace does not waver. Even in our brokenness, His mercy lifts us from the depths and sets us on solid ground.

3. In the Name of the Son — Salvation Through Christ
This song proclaims the heart of the Gospel: salvation is not earned but given through Jesus Christ.

4. To Him Be the Glory — Worship and Praise
A declaration of worship, giving glory to God for His saving work and the grace that transforms our lives.

5. Rise Again in Christ Alone — Resurrection Life
Through Christ, we rise from the ashes of the old life and walk forward in redemption and new life.

6. Ever Held in Grace — Assurance of God's Love
Nothing can separate us from the love of God. Even in weakness or doubt, we remain held in His grace.

7. Put It On — The New Life in Christ
A reflection on spiritual transformation—putting off the old self and living daily in the character of Christ.

8. In the Shelter of His Love — Security in Christ
God’s presence becomes our refuge and peace, surrounding us with a love that cannot be shaken.

9. The Waiting Bride — Hope for Christ’s Return
The Church waits with hope and devotion for the return of the Bridegroom.

10. Lamps Trimmed for the Bridegroom — Faithful Readiness
A call to remain spiritually awake and ready, living each day in expectation of Christ’s coming.

11. You Found Me There — Redemption and Testimony
The journey ends with a testimony of grace: Christ meets us in our brokenness and calls us back to life.
